In club sports management, daily operations often suffer from fragmented tools and overloaded, unintuitive interfaces that slow down business. This stream focuses on designing an adaptive, ecosystem-first platform for Easy Padel, rebuilding complex court booking flows and multi-venue dashboards into clear, frictionless daily workflows.
Outcome
-40% Booking Friction
Streamlined the core user journey into sequential steps, eliminating cognitive load and allowing players to book courts without decoding the interface.
2× Faster Tournament Setup
Designed a modular creation wizard from scratch, enabling coaches and club managers to launch competitions effortlessly via intuitive modal steps.
85% Notification Adoption
Replaced visual clutter with a clean, transparent layout, turning real-time event and booking updates into an essential tool for daily operations.
The Challenge: From a clunky utility to a sports ecosystem
Easy Padel was built to manage court bookings, track payments, and organize tournaments. However, the existing platform lacked visual hierarchy and predictability. The business objective was to overhaul the cluttered environment and build an intuitive, adaptive, and scalable control hub that both professionals and casual players would love to use daily.
The Friction: Overloaded screens and misleading visual states
Usability tests revealed deep behavioral barriers. Screens were heavy with unnecessary side elements, and the core booking modal disoriented users instead of enabling quick action. To make matters worse, several clickable buttons appeared completely inactive, creating immense interaction friction and driving user frustration.
The Pivot: Ground research with the court community
To rebuild the experience from scratch, I spent time gathering direct feedback through user interviews and technical audits. By collaborating with real coaches, administrators, and players, I mapped out exact day-to-day scenarios. This field data proved that key functionalities needed to live in a highly accessible top tab bar, while secondary settings belonged in a centralized profile control hub.
Core Feature: Step-by-step sequential booking wizard
To make the heavy transactional flow feel lightweight, I completely refactored the event and tournament creation logic. I broke down complex forms into quick, sequential steps presented in clean modal windows. Important transactions are displayed immediately on the dashboard, allowing users to execute bookings and confirm setups in just a couple of clicks.
Scaling the Product: Single-click multi-club switching
Managing multiple venues used to require complex admin navigation. I designed a flexible, scalable design system and an updated profile structure where club owners can add and manage multiple facilities simultaneously, switching between different clubs with a single click.
Learnings
Actionable items must look alive:
If a clickable element mimics a dead state, user trust drops instantly. Clear visual accents must guide attention to core transactional steps.
Admin patterns succeed when simplified:
Don't overload sports managers with dense tables. Moving advanced setups into modular tabs keeps the daily operational workspace clean and predictable.
Animate for responsiveness:
Fine-tuning UI transitions and animation behavior after high-fidelity testing is what transforms a clunky system into a premium, responsive product.
